<<< Summer 2011 >>>

Thank you for another wonderful week!
The first time we came here, my daughter Ainsley was 2 months old, and she is now 7.
She and her 4 year old sister can't get enough of the beautiful beach.
This book is like a baby book to us. As we flip through the pages, we watch our children grow.
What great memories!

Smilin' Moose,
I had lots of fun, (especially at the beach!) From Ainsley, for the second time I am writing in this book!
This is the best!
ps I'm 7. I saw a butterfly this morning.

My name is Ashley. Thank you. It was fun!

It seems as though the more time we spend at the Smilin' Moose, the more memories we make.
We've been coming here for, what, 7 years? I still haven't gotten tired of this place.
The first thing we do when we get here is look around, to see what's new, and what's gone.
The new TV was a great addition, although we still had the odd argument over who would use which TV.
The beach was put to good use, being 'the' place to be for awesome fireworks
on Canada Day and for some good swimming.
The little girls had plenty of fun, claiming that they never want to leave.
With so much to do, like swimming, blowing bubbles and playing badminton, who could blame them?
This year was the first year we all left 'The Moose' on its own, while we went
on a boat tour of the 30,000 Islands.
We came back with wind-blown hair, and heavy stomachs.
Did anything interesting happen?
A baby bear (or so we think) took a walk nearby and popped one of our water tubes.
Not interesting enough? A giant black spider made its way into someone's bedroom. Fun Fun Fun Fun.
There were tears, there were fears,
But most of all, there were cheers.

Time just seems to fly by when we're at the Moose!

We all had a great time, with awesome weather.

Thank you so much for your fantastic hospitality!!

Until next year...

We had a great time! Thank you very much! Our last day we ended up seeing some of the wildlife : deer & otter.
The mouse - Jack (which we named) sure does love the bar-b-q! He kept popping up in it & it
gave us some laughter as us girls stood on the benches & the "he" men chased it away :)
Thank you for great memories!

Great time this week.
The beach was great, the laughs were priceless and the memories will stay with us forever.
The Smilin' Moose Lodge will be remembered for a long time. Thank you so much for letting us borrow this building.

Thanks for giving us an awesome week. Loved the campfire, beach, deck and everything else.
The weather was perfect - did you plan that too?
(Judith G Aug/11)

This was such a great place for a vacation.
The beach was wonderful - held all the stuff children - adults could 'so' appreciate. Thank you so much.
